"Checkmate."

Riddle is smoking in Roy's room again, leaning up against the wall near the door. He has one hand hooked in a beltloop, pale fingers curving against the edge of his hip, tie slightly undone. He smirks when Roy walks in, lips curving slow and mischievous. Taunting. His entire posture is a come-on, eyes glinting. It's the look of somebody who knows he's causing trouble; lives it, breathes it, wants it, gets off on it; and he's discovered that he loves nothing more than to watch Roy Mustang lose his cool.

He takes another drag of his cigarette, watching Roy all the while, and exhales with a slow, shit-eating grin. "Welcome home, Colonel," he says.

Riddle is hunched over, back resting against the head of his bed as he scribbles away at a piece of parchment, pausing every so often to dip the tip of his quill into the ink bottle balanced precariously on one of the posts. He's frowning and appears a little too dedicated to the looping runes he's writing, as if he's purposefully trying to block out some ulterior thought or distraction.

It could possibly be the occasional squeaking of the dust bunnies under his bed, which (as they become particularly vocal) causes him to blot the ink in the middle of the array, give a violent string of word-like hisses, and rip his current parchment to little tiny shreds.

This started as a reply to Heather's post in the OOC community, but then it went way out of hand. So I'm putting it here, and may elaborate on it more later when I'm not really tired, broken, and can't keep my thoughts in any sort of order. But with the wounds that don't seem to heal so fresh in my mind, here goes:

Like this hasn't been done before. But, you know, I don't have enough arbitrary things to occupy my time.

Request a pairing, or characters, or whatever, and darling Lord Voldemort will deliver. Or - or something.

(Keep in mind that I know most, but not all, of the characters, so... yeah, just keep it in mind?)

PS: I only got three hours of sleep and it's ALL YOUR FAULT, CFUD.

ETA: Let's say this. If the character you're requesting is not on either of these lists, I probably can't write them, sorry! If you really want me to, of course, I'll try, but it will take a while for me to do some research, and then I'll probably suck anyway. SO. <3
